A choice of facings is offered for differing applications, whilst there is a variation in noise reduction between the surfaces offered, they all contribute to reducing noise regeneration and offer varying practical advantages. A) Protective Facing (Optional) Classic keep in stock a wide range of facing materials and vinyl’s B) Absorption Layer. A Heavy open cell foam to absorb echoes and cut down transmitted noise. C) Barrier Layer Lead or Polymeric (Optional) A heavy polymeric/lead barrier forms the heart of our sound insulation D) Spacer Layer (With Optional Self Adhesive Backing) The final layer of foam acts as an isolating layer between the barrier and the bulkhead. A heavy polymeric barrier forms the heart of our sound insulation, a dense and inert material which stops noise, a lead barrier is also available which is slightly more efficient but works out a lot more expensive. A wide selection of facing available including sprayable PVC, reinforced foil, woven black glass cloth and black pu film to name but a few. |
